The memory of Kathryn Ward of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Kathryn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathryn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathryn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mosher of Poughkeepsie and Florence Mosher of Poughkeepsie; her daughter-in-law Jan Ward; and her siblings, Margaret Mosher of Poughkeepsie, Patricia Lowe of Poughkeepsie, Charles Mosher of Rome, NY and Gerard Robinson of California.
She is survived by: her son Roger W. Ward II of Middletown; and her sister Barbara Waldron of Henderson, Nevada.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery South Ave (342 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA.
