We are sad to announce that, on November 28, 2025, at the age of 94, Lavinia Jefferson of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Maria Jones; her close friend Willie Marable (Buster); her brother Charles Smith (Huss); and her goddaughter Juanita Thurston. She is survived by: her brother Peter Johnson; her children, Robert C. Mac Neil and Tina M. Allen (Bradley); and her grandchildren, Shameeka Tillery-Perez (Thomas), Azuree Allen-Laing (Branden), Willique Allen (Samantha), Tima Maddox (Mitch), Takiyah Rashid (Sadat) and Tivona Mac Neil. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
