Leo P. Sozzi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo P. Sozzi of Poughkeepsie, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo P. Sozzi to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Leo is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leo's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sozzi and Anna Sozzi (Johnson); and his wife Patricia M. Sozzi (Berczan). He is survived by: his children, Erica L. Tyler (Matthew) and Michael L. Sozzi (Bridgid); his grandson Brian; and his brothers, George Sozzi (Judy) and Vick Sozzi (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (342 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
