It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Mendel (Poughkeepsie, New York), who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Mendel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Eric Mendel; her husband Jordan Taylor; her son Andrew Mendel; and her parents, Barnard Cohen and Jeannette Cohen.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Mendel (Christopher Johnson) of Arlington, VA, Richard Mendel (Paula Labieniec) of Chesterfield, VA and David Mendel (Stephanie Gold) of Bethesda, MD; her stepdaughters, Judy Apicella (Salvatore) of New Milford, CT and Susan Taylor (Allan Bahoric); her grandchildren, Eric, Phillip Johnson, Erica Mendel (Russell Horowitz), Jacob, Benjamin, Jonah, Zoe, Aliza Mendel and Nico Apicella; and her sister-in-law Gert Trbovich. She is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
