She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edwards and Doris Edwards (Almond). She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe Hawkins; her children, Susan Mohr (Mark) and Amando Downer; her grandson Justin Lewis; her brother James Edwards; her family, Dawn Russell, Marcel Lewis, Eileen Russell and Delroy Prince; and her friends, Collette Frazier, Joanet Johnson, Maud Edwards, Angela Clarke, Ingrid Hibbert, Sophia Tyrell and Arlene.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (204 Spackenkill Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
