Maria Dalia Vona Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Maria Dalia Vona (Poughkeepsie, New York). Maria, born on July 1, 1938, passed away on October 10, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Dalia Vona to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raffaele Dalia and Elena Dalia; her husband Eduardo Vona; and her son Sebastiano Vona. She is survived by: her children, Rosa Graziano, Maddalena Volino (Giovanni), Salvatore Vona (Kim) and Silvana Volino (Aniello); her daughter-in-law Maria Vona; her brothers, Antonio, Giuseppe and Pasquale Dalia; and her child America. She is also survived by Sixteen Grandchildren, and Twelve Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (11 Mill St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 PM at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (342 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
