Marietta Picard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marietta Picard of Poughkeepsie, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Rhodes and Caroline Riggs; and her brothers, William Rhodes and Kenneth Rhodes. She is survived by: her husband Donald Picard; her daughters, Kristena Thompson (Adam) of Lincolnton, NC and Kerry Dunleavy (Brett) of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Hannah, Abigail Thompson, Dara and Brayden Dunleavy; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Gideon and Shiloh Thompson of Mooresville, NC.; her sister Myra Jean (Claude); and her friend Irene Mahoney (Jimmy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Elvis Presley Endowed Scholarship Fund at the College of Communication & Fine Arts at the University of Memphis to assist students majoring in areas that relate to Elvis' own career: music, film, television, theater, etc.
