Mario M. Bertolozzi Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mario M. Bertolozzi (Poughkeepsie, New York), who passed away on November 29, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Bertolozzi and Bruna Bertolozzi (Angeli); his wife Lida; and his siblings, Dante, Paolo, Luigi and Anna.
He is survived by: his children, Louise Bertolozzi Lynch (Bob), Peter Bertolozzi (Sharon) and Maria Bertolozzi Hickey (Danny); his grandchildren, Henry Schmitz (Meaghan), Daniel Hickey, Sam Hickey, Lily Hickey Keller (Mack), Shannon Whalen, Shawn Whalen (Ashley), Zach Bertolozzi, Maddie Lynch, Mario Hickey and Darleen Bertolozzi; and his sisters-in-law, Annette Giuliano (Tony), Raffaella Bertolozzi and Silvana Bertolozzi. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael Torsone Funeral Home, Inc. (218 Mill St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (95 Mill St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Mario's memory to Hudson Valley Hospice.
