He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Meola and Clementina Meola; his wife Josephine Grassi; and his siblings, Salvatore Meola and Rose Maglione.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Meola (Dorothy) of Supply, NC, Joanne Kolkmann (Douglas Highbridge) of Lagrangeville, NY and Janet Nachman (Dennis Nachman) of Wappingers Falls, NY; his brother Thomas Meola of Brewster, NY; his grandchildren, Melissa Meola of Wilmington, NC, Kristy Meola of Wilmington, NC, Dennis Nachman (Kristi) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jason Kolkmann (Eileen) of Salisbury, MD and Joel Kolkmann of Brooklyn, NY; and his great grandchildren, Nathan and DJ.
