He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence "Honey" Hargraves and Richard Hargraves; and his sisters, MaryKay and Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his siblings, Bobby (Liz), Joan (John), Jamie (Kathy), Richie (Colleen) and Rie; his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Adam, Reese, Lydia, Piper, Christina, Cameron, Novalee, Noah, Naomi, Grace, Shane, Cari, Jake, Dylan, Richie, Ellie of Hudson Sarah, JJ, J'Niyah, Jonah, Liam, Emma and Bram; his in-laws, Dan, Jodi, Michael, Cathy and Jamie; and his nephews, Joshua, Joel and Aaron.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel (36 Firemens Way, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Calvary Chapel Academy in Michael's memory.

“I am heartbroken for all of you. Michael was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know He always had a smile on his face. My son, Michael has fond memories of Michael driving them to practice, since he and Mike played lacrosse and graduated high-school together. Barb, I wish I knew the right words to say to you.
