We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 55, Michelle Shaffer (Poughkeepsie, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She is survived by: her husband Claude Shaffer; her daughter Kayleigh Shaffer; her son-in-law Zachary Baysinger; her son Ryan Shaffer; her grandchildren, Graysen Baysinger and Aubrie Baysinger; and her parents, Micki Chapman and Clarence Woodin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
