We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2025, at the age of 91, Robert T. Capano of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (95 Mill St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
In Lieu of flowers, you can donate in Robert's name to Hudson Valley Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
