He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sr. Mima and Olive Mima; his brother Everett Mima Jr.; and his aunt Eleanor. He is survived by: his wife Leonora "Candy" Derello-Mima; his children, Talasia Mima, Ronnette Lawrence (AL) and Litisha Mima (NC); his stepchildren, Carlisha Derello, Chatana Derello (VA), Ronnisha White, Ronica White, Rondisha Derello (GA), Ronkeisha Derello, Roaul White, Chevez Derello, Realistic Derello, Leonard Derello and Alex Kinloch; and his siblings, Linda, Louise, Dale, David and Michael. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beluah Baptist Church (92 Catharine St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
