We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2023, at the age of 85, Sara R. Bonanno of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Joseph M. Bonanno; and her siblings, Nate Vecchio, Marie V. Rizzo and Agnes Piccoli. She is survived by: her children, Paul Bonanno of Dover Plains, NY and Gilda Bonanno; her son-in-law Varghese John of Stamford, CT; her nieces, JoAnn Strba and Lisa Lanigan of Poughkeepsie; Sharon Rizzo of Poughkeepsie. She is also survived by relatives and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tim Heaton Scholarship Fund at Kildonan School, PO Box 392, Amenia, NY 12501.
