She is survived by: her children, Kishana Phoenix-Charles (Gary Charles), Kevin Sprow, John Brooks, Brian Atkins (Cynthia Atkins) and Corey Whitaker of Albany, NY; her siblings, Sandra Postel of Poughkeepsie, NY and Phillip Postel (Maryanne Postel) of Randolph, MA; her cousins, Stephen, Larry, Garry Tissiera and Karen Hawkins; her grandchildren, Jibri, Nazahe, Christian, Jamek, Josiah, Gavin, Kendrea, Marika, Tamara, Kyreef, Kavesha, Jahzir, Saraj and Barrington; and her friend James Butler (Shirley). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
