Sylvia L. Culhane Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia L. Culhane of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Cavallaro and Thomas Cavallaro; her spouse Thomas E. Culhane; her grandparents, Angelina, Joseph Cavallaro, Louise and George Butland; her aunt Lena Biscardi; and her sister Diana Cavallaro.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward McCloskey Jr., Craig McCloskey (Lisa) and Thomas McCloskey (Denise); her stepdaughters, Debbie Finateri (Joseph), Pattie Eacobacci (Lou) and Susie Culhane; her grandchildren, Courtney Sanchez, Haleigh McCloskey, Denise McCloskey, Samantha McCloskey, Autumn McCloskey, Nicole McCloskey, Gianna Eacobacci, Joseph Finateri Jr. and John Finateri; her great grandchild Alessandra Sanchez; her siblings, Brenda Tillits (Steven) and Joseph Cavallaro; and her sister-in-law Joanne McMillan (Robert). She is also survived by cousins, and dear friends.
