She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mastrovito and Adelaide Mastrovito; her children, Joanne Gunn Meckelvaney, Denise Gunn Totten and James Gunn; and her siblings, Josephine Norton, Helen Campbell, Gloria Veach and John Mastrovito.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (James Fischer), Edward (Jessica), Jeanette Gunn Beaver, Michael (Cynthia), Maureen Gunn Sears, Marie (James Greaves), Thomas (Helen), William (Dina), Elisa (Frank Merendino), Richard (Lisa) and Andrea (Ralph Savino). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Virginia T. Gunn.
