With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nicholas Monaco of Poughquag, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2026 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monaco and Rose Monaco (Campone); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Valerie (D'Augelli); his children, John Monaco (Lisa), Nicole Rufino (Jeff), Jennifer Monaco (Ivan Ortega) and Marianna Monaco (Emily Burgess); his grandchildren, Carly, Johnny (Marlia), Dominic (Reyna), Ivan Jr. and Katerina; his siblings, Thomas Monaco (Randi), Anthony Monaco (Sara), Rosemarie Romano (Joe) and Donald Simon (Patricia); and his pets, Tequila, Chula, Bella, Rylee, Rani, Buddy, Cooper and Samantha. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
