We announce the death of Sergei Churyk of Pound Ridge, New York, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 91. Sergei will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Anastasija (Nellie); and his brother Egor. He is survived by: his father Ivan (John); his sons, Sergei (Carla) and Aleksei (Raelene); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas and Kyra; his brothers, Boris and Stefan; and his friend Nenita Delorio.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation (453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Holy Assumption Russian Orthodox Church (141 Den Rd, Stamford, CT 06903).
