He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Slater and Anna Slater; and his son Andrew Slater. He is survived by: his wife Carol Slater; his son Douglas Albert Slater Jr. (Allister); his brother Anthony Slater; his sister-in-law Donna Slater; and his granddaughters, Brooke Wright (Ethan), Kylee Slater and Cali Slater. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal services; donations may be made in Doug's memory to St. Judes, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
