With sadness, we share the passing of Randy Cory Brainerd Sr. of Prattsville, New York. Randy, born on April 20, 1963 in Catskill, New York, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Randy for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Brainerd and Lois Brainerd. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Briggs; his daughter Shannon Holdridge (Luke); his grandchildren, Avery and Alexandria Holdridge; his sons, Randy Cory Jr. (Cassidy), Cody and Brandon Brainerd (Faithann); and his pet Minnie. He is also survived by brothers and sisters (12 of them in total, MANY nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at 14163 NY-23, Prattsville, NY 12468.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being asked to help cover any medical expenses that did not get covered by his insurance and any leftover funeral costs.
