With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Lyons (Prattsville, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2026 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Raeder Beers and Lloyd Beers; her husband Robert Lyons; her brother Robert Beers; and her sister-in-law Nancy Beers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Beers, Stanley Beers (Ann), Eleanor Seckner (Gordon) and Elaine Faella (Felix); her stepchildren, Robert Lyons (Ellen) and Ann Matrone; and her stepgrandchildren, Todd Wainwight, Kate DeVagno and AJ Matrone. She is also survived by aunt to her many nieces, nephews, and their children.
