He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Nelson and William Nelson; his wife Anne V. Forbes Nelson; and his sisters, Sheila and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Fowler (William) of Sandy Creek, Harold Jr. (Jessica) of Pulaski and Douglas (Jeff) of Brewerton; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Taylor (Joseph), Koby Fowler (Giovanna), Harold 3rd, Piper, Winter Nelson, Tessila and Kevien Abbott. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
