He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heilig and Emma Heilig (Kondealla); his son Steven Heilig; and his brother Dale Heilig (Judy). He is survived by: his wife Jane Kirk; his daughters, Susan Keane (Tom) of Orchard Park, NY and Deborah Heilig of Fairport, NY; his grandchildren, Corey and Megan; his sister Elaine Delaney of Oswego; his siblings-in-law, Karen Bergstrom (John) and Donald Kirk (Dona); and his nieces and nephews, Eric, Andy Bergstrom, Kim, Jeff Heilig, Amy Spinelli, Jason Kirk, Michael and Tom Delaney.
