Phoebe L. Wheeler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phoebe L. Wheeler (Pulaski, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Britton and Roxie Trumble Britton; her husband Charles Wheeler; and her siblings, Edith, Jane, Judy, Peggy, Frank, Grover, Stuart, William and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Casey Wheeler (Donna) of Columbia City, OR, Albert Wheeler (Patricia) of Brunswick, ME, Stephen Wheeler (Karen) of Lacona and Sarah Wansink (Nick) of Pulaski; her grandchildren, Ryan Wheeler (Summer), Claire Wheeler (Petra Rowan Rhines), Emily Wheeler (Zoe Latil), Stephen Wheeler II, Benjamin Wheeler (Bethany), Samantha Wheeler, Colin Wansink (Nyasha) and Libbie Wansink; her great grandchildren, Áine Wheeler and Maggie Wheeler; and her siblings, Louis Britton (Jean) of Williamstown, NY, Jack Britton (Esther) of Camden, NY, Alice Eldred (Ronald) of Altmar, NY and Peter Britton (Dena) of Southwest City, MO.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home (52 Park St, Pulaski, NY 13142). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
