He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Murphy and Dolores Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Claire Murphy; his children, Thomas E. Murphy III (Brie V. Murphy), Beth Ann Goodwin and Kathleen Claire Murphy; his grandchildren, Troy, Brett, Thomas, Aubrie, Evelyn and Libbie; his siblings, Paul Murphy (Betsy), Margaret Scrobola and Alice Murphy; and his nephews, Christopher Murphy (Theresa), Robert Murphy (Fiona Morahan), Adam and Michael Scrobola.
