It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond H. Fountain of Pyrites, New York, born in Pierrepont, New York, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Fountain and Elsie Fountain (Curtis); his wife Joyce S. Dafoe; and his siblings, Skeek Fountain, Floyd Fountain, Junior Fountain, Peanut Fountain, Lawrence Fountain, Betty Beachard, Geneva Wood and Joan Matthews.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Jr. (Connie Fountain); his grandchildren, Tim Bacon (Jennie) and Nicole Maxner (Corey); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob and Eleanor; his brother Arnold Fountain; his sisters-in-law, Molly Tressider, Judy Dafoe and Sharon Dafoe; and his friend Emily Stevenson.
