She is survived by: her husband Alberto Arana; her children, Kathie Arana, Galo Arana and Alberto Jr. Arana; her siblings, Teresa Ramirez, Lola Pacheco, Marlene Solorzano and Richard Zapata; her daughter-in-law Marie Patterson; her grandchildren, Leslie Ann Mendez, Nicholas Mendez and Emily Mendez; and her pets, Gizmo and Abigail II. She is also survived by her loving cousins, brother law and sister in laws and great friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home (43-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 11104). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377).
