He was predeceased by: his grandchild Lukasz. He is survived by: his wife Janina Karpinska; his children, Krzystof Karpinski (Julita), Barbara Karpinska, Waldemar Karpinski, Janusz Karpinksi (Anna), Mariola Miazga (Krzysztof) and Anna Karpinska; his grandchildren, Kamil, Paula, Pawel, Kacper, Jakub, Rafal, Patryk, Izabela, Natalia and Anna; his great grandchild Klara; and his siblings, Piotr Karpinski and Krystyna Zawadzka. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Papavero Funeral Home (72-27 Grand Ave, Maspeth, NY 11378). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 9:15 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (138 Montrose Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11206). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hl Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377).
