It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Marx of Queens, New York, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara J. Marx to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fanny Sofer and Charles Richter; her husband Robert Marx; and her brothers, Manuel and Larry Richter.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Hawrysko (Virginia) of Palmyra and Bobbi Rubenzahl (David) of Fort Lauderdale; her grandchildren, Amelia Hawrysko (Matthew) of Lynchburg, David Rieth (Kelli) of Fort Lauderdale and Sarah Johnson (Shawn) of Palmyra; and her great grandchildren, Seth, Liam, Saxon and Syler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
