It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles J. Markey (Queens, New York), who passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret M. Markey. He is survived by: his children, Charles J. Markey, Jr., Margaret M. Markey and John P. Markey; his children-in-law, B. J. and Endira; his grandchild Camila Jean; his pet Gretel; and his siblings, Jennette McWalters (Jim), Dorothy Hickey (Bob), Carol Gorman (Pat), Peter Markey (Kristin) and James Markey (Carolyn). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
