“I was very saddened to learn of Dr. Lefkowitz's passing. It was a privilege to have worked with him for over 25 years at NYP. He was such a compassionate, kind, and extremely caring person. He often left the unit (4north) late in the evening because he wanted to spend time with his patients. His patients spoke so highly of him often saying "he is one of a kind". I could not agree more. He not only cared deeply for his patients but for his colleagues. He will be very missed.”
