With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Newton (Queens, New York), who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dolores departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dolores leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Farenga & Sons (38-08 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, NY 11105). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church (2325 Newtown Ave, Astoria, NY 11102). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379).
