It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary F. Baum of Queens, New York, born in Ridgewood, New York, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baum and Eleanore Baum; his parents-in-law, Edward and Rita Murphy; his brother-in-law Edward Murphy; and his pet Kayla.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Baum; his daughters, Beth Orabona (Miguel) of Charlton, NY and Cara Dorn (Kenneth) of Farmingdale, NY; his grandchildren, Michael Orabona (Marilyn Dizon), Nicole Orabona, James Dorn, Matthew Dorn and Luke Orabona; his great grandchild Miguel Orabona; his brother Richard Baum (Margaret) of Deer Park, NY; his sister-in-law Jane Cashin; his nephews, Robert Baum, Christopher Baum (Kimberly) and Jack Murphy (Carolyn); his niece Patricia Baum; and his pets, Bailey and Gary. He is also survived by many great nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Gary's name to the Tunnel to Towers charity.
