“To Gina's family: I just found out that Gina passed away. I'm Pilar, an old friend from Turin. We met several times for work in Milan and Turin and I came to New York to visit her, including in August 2002 with my son Pier. One evening at dinner in her beautiful apartment on the Hudson we told each other about our lives. We spent a whole night talking, crying, laughing, It was truly touching.
