It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry A. Szachacz (Queens, New York), who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Henry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Henry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D'Angelo Funeral Home (64-18 Flushing Avenue, Maspeth, NY 11378). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 8:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Maspeth, NY 11377).
