Heraklis Papagermanos Obituary
We bid farewell to Heraklis Papagermanos (Queens, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 30, 2025 at the age of 94. Heraklis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his children, Stavros H. Papagermanos (Maria Andreatos), Fotios Papagermanos, Michael (Lola Papagermanos) and Barbara Papagermanos-Itty (Thomas Itty); his grandchildren, Vassiliki Papagermanos-Mirisis, Anastasios Mirisis, Demetrios Papagermanos, Nathaniel, Alexandra Itty and Stefanos Papagermanos; his great grandchild Theodore John Mirisis; and his sisters-in-law, Matoula Papagermanos and Ioanna Karavasilis. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church (1400 Cedar Swamp Rd, Glen Head, NY 11545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Special Fund for the Cultivation of and Education in Byzantine Music and Chanting at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection of Brookville, NY.
