He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hayes and Betty Hayes. He is survived by: his children, James Dylan and Shannon; his granddaughters, Chloe, Jamie and Cayley; and his brothers, Kevin, Brendan and John. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; as well as his nieces, nephews, and grandnieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home (43-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 11104). A prayer was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
