It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M. McDowell of Queens, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James McDowell, Sr.; and her parents, Frank Pape and Christina Pape. She is survived by: her children, James McDowell, Jr. of Tabernacle, NJ and Christine Haden of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
