Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Joan for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She is survived by: her husband William "Jack" Carney; and her children, Susan Corso (Thomas), William Carney and Michelle Seitz (late William Seitz). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns, Inc. (61-40 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374). A Mass was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Child Jesus RC Church (111-11 86th Ave, Richmond Hill, NY 11418).
