He was predeceased by: his parents, José Valente and Agostinha Valente. He is survived by: his wife Arminda; his children, John and Anabela; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Manuel and Celeste.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home (103-33 Lefferts Blvd, South Richmond Hill, NY 11419). A Mass was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Pius V Church (106-12 Liverpool St, Jamaica, NY 11435).
