We announce the death of Louis Horvath (Queens, New York), who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 87. Louis’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Madeline; his daughter Lynn; his grandchildren, Dennis, Alan, Christoper, Olga and Hailey; and his close friend Hilmar Link. He was also cherished by his wife, children, granddaughter, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Werst & LaBella Funeral Home (71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale, NY 11385). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart RC Church (83-17 78th Avenue, Glendale, NY 11385). A committal service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
