We announce the death of Margaret Nadeau of Queens, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 84. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Patrick Duffy, Sr. and Anna Duffy; her siblings, Marie Duffy, Anne "Mickey" Smith Coughlin and Joseph P Duffy, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Mary Duffy, Charlene Duffy, Walter Schubert, Mike Smith and Robert Coughlin; and her grandsons, Kaleb and Cole Bourque.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert C. Nadeau, Jr.; her children, Lisa Ann Fineberg (Andy) of Coppell, TX., John T. Nadeau (Joanne) of Suffield, CT., Kevin M. Nadeau (Linda) of Naples, Elaine M. Bourque of Enfield, CT. and Christine L. Nadeau of Enfield, CT.; and her siblings, Patricia Schubert and Bill Duffy. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clifford Funeral Home (2 Washington St, Rutland, VT 05701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Church (2918 US-7, Pittsford, VT 05763).
