He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ellen Finnerty and Edwin Finnerty; his siblings, Sharon and Patrick; his wife Elizabeth Finnerty; and his children, Sara, Michael, Andrew and Savannah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Farenga & Sons (38-08 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, NY 11105). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (21-17 45th St, Astoria, NY 11105).
