Panagiota Kalkanis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Panagiota Kalkanis (Queens, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Panagiota Kalkanis to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Evangelos Kalkanis; her children, Peter (Maria), Stella Pantelidis (late Jimmy) and Maria (Gus Rigas); her grandchildren, Kristina, Carli, Mariana, Nicholas, Paige and Eve; and her great grandchild Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Farenga & Sons (38-08 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, NY 11105). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Demetrios Cathedral (30-11 30th Dr, Queens, NY 11102).
