We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, at the age of 78, Peter C. Zaun (Queens, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Peter leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Peter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie Zaun; and his children, Michael, Keith, John, Christina, Mary and Stacy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 8:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the James Romanelli-Stephen Funeral Home (89-01 Rockaway Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11416). A procession will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
