It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Batease (Queensbury, New York), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Batease to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lanfear and Leona Lanfear (Chase); her husband Floyd G. Batease; her siblings, Robert Lanfear, Helen McDermott, Elma McDermott, Patricia Shippey and Craig Lanfear; and her grandparents, Daniel and Nellie Chase (Mattison).
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Davis (Jack), Debbie StAmour (Willie), Janet Kinderman (Al) and Glenn Batease (Kyle Bryce); and her grandchildren, Cassie Shea, Jackson Davis, Jason Kinderman (Brooke), Brandon Kinderman (Annie), Andrea Kinderman-Galeno (Michael), Ian Lewis, Heather Taylor (John), Brooke Rouse (Justin) and Brady Batease (Ivana Stavreva). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Baker Funeral Home (11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury, NY 12804). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Caldwell Cemetery.
