He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sheldon and Mary Sheldon of Syracuse, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Jo (Vicki); his sons, Brian of Queensbury, NY and Brett (Jenna); his grandson Caleb of Naples, FL.; and his siblings, Kathleen Sheldon, Ann Sheldon, Joan Reid (Mark), John Sheldon (Mary Beth) of Leesburg, VA and Tom Sheldon. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Annunciation (448 Aviation Rd, Queensbury, NY 12804). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Cecelia's Cemetery.
