We announce the death of Mary E. McCarthy of Queensbury, New York, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel McCarthy and Ramona McCarthy (Houseworth); her sister Sue Ann Williams; her aunt Beryl Houseworth; and her pets, Buddy, Ace and Tig.
She is survived by: her son Kerry Bateman; her daughter-in-law Kerry Haring of Gansevoort; her sister Danielle McCarthy of Ilion; her nieces, Loretta Haskell (Dustin) of Thurman and Lacie Haskell of Thurman; and her caregiver Delia Tabano. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home, Inc. (3809 Main St, Warrensburg, NY 12885).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's honor to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
