He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smith and Stella Pearl Smith (Cross); his grandparents, Hollis and Stella Cross; his siblings, Robert Smith, Richard Smith, Michael Smith and Janice Smith; and his brother-in-law James Connelly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Floyd (Debra), Tom (Robyn), Bill (Ruth Couture), David (Pam), Peter (Sheila), Paul (Barb Winchip), Fred (Jina), Daniel (Stacy), JoAnn Connelly, Marylou Jones (Chuck) and Susan (Jeff Greene); and his aunt Joan Counter. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews; and several cousins, great nieces, and nephews.
